Barbados has a reputation for being expensive to eat and drink in restaurants and bars, this not strictly true, there are places to eat and drink that most people will find very reasonable, it's just a case of knowing where to go! For the more reasonable places to eat ask the locals where to go.

There are some world class restaurants in Barbados offering great food and service and of course this is reflected in the price. 

Bars vary from local "Rum Shops" to Fun Bars, Sports Bars and everything in-between.

Barbados is a small island 26 miles long by 14 miles at it's widest point, most accommodation's are situated on the west and south coasts, these being the most sheltered parts of the island with good beaches and easy access to the warm beautiful Caribbean sea, the north and east coast's being very spectacular though rugged with swimming not really possible due to the large swells coming straight off the Atlantic Ocean!

Visitors tend to come back again and again as our lovely island takes some beating having a very friendly people trying their best to make your visit memorable and enjoyable.
